For far too long, we have not had a real logo as an organization. I am excited to announce that we have worked with a graphic designer to create 4 logo exemplars. We asked for something simple, professional and that conveys stability. If you happen to like a particular design, but would like to see it in a different color, please use the comments section below to indicate the color you’d like.
Logo #1 — The Mountain
Nothing conveys stability better than the image of a mountain. I’ve always thought that Iron Mountain had some of the best branding out there, combining two tangibly solid images together, conveying to you that your data is absolutely safe. This logo evokes that theme, to indicate that the services we provide are “rock solid”. Also, as a “Game of Thrones” fan, I was somewhat tickled to be able to use that name.
Logo #2 — Understated
Most of us labor quietly and unobtrusively, typically shunning the limelight. Usually if we do find ourselves in the limelight, it’s not for positive reasons. In this entry, we emphasize the vital, yet quiet role we play in our organizations. And the organization is, literally, stated underneath the color emphasis in lower case letters. The epitome of understated.
Logo #3 — The Rock
A more playful entry, this one is an abstract. While we have reasonably defined roles and responsibilities, there are many times when we must adapt to changing conditions and stretch beyond our normal roles. The amorphous shape symbolizes our willingness to go “outside the box”, while the orange shape represents outside forces which act upon us.
Logo #4 — Logo, Interrupted
Many tasks that we perform come in as unplanned, critical work. The artistic accent of this logo falls in the middle of the name, representing how we are the force which contains chaos. We symbolically embrace the urgent interruptions, and literally keep everything together.
